Mall Rooftop Unit Replacement
Located in Bronx, NY, TA changed several rooftop units and removed some unused machinery that was on the roof. The work was intense and the schedule was tight, but we pulled it off as usual. The complex part of the project was the removal of a 44,000# building generator system that tested the strength of the crane as well as the abilities of the rigging crew from LFG rigging.
Whole Foods 50th Street

Dolce & Gabbana Flagship Store
TA Mechanical got the go ahead to install the systems for the new Dolce & Gabbana Flagship location on Madison Avenue.
Greywind Restaurant
A jewel in the Related crown is the exceptional Greywind Restaurant at 451 10th Avenue. Completed over the winter of 2023/24, this restaurant presented almost too many challenges, but we pulled it off professionally. This restaurant has a combination of VRF units and WSHP systems in conjunction with a conditioned makeup air system coupled to two electro static precipitators. A very complex system indeed!
Valentino Flagship Store
TA Mechanical installed all indoor comfort systems at the new Flagship location for this world renowned clothing company.
Ci Siamo Restaurant
Located in luxurious Manhattan West, Ci Siamo has turned a LOT of heads in the NYC culinary circle. This two story restaurant offers unique Italian dishes that are sure to please the palate. This project was extremely complicated with 5 separate PCU systems, Makeup air systems, Water Source Heat Pumps and Kitchen exhaust systems. Restaurants are always difficult, but the finished product is always the reward.
Exclusive Luxury Apartment
We can't talk about this one too much considering the location and the owner, but suffice to say, one of the most beautiful apartments we have ever set foot in. A truly amazing work of art for a very appreciative client.
Ultra Luxury Multi-Story Residential Apartment
Three Story Luxury residential apartment including roof deck. Complete renovation with cutting edge VRF equipment and state of the art ventilation and humidity control.
Geothermal System with Advanced Boilers
Prestigious Long Island Golf Club hired TA Mechanical to provide a turnkey design/build solution that included the installation of 23 Geothermal systems with ultra high efficiency boilers to serve as heat injection for the winter months as a backup to the Geothermal system.
Bryant Park - Cooling Tower
An extremely challenging project indeed. Due to the time of the year, a permit for rigging was out of the question. The existing tower had to be broken down to the smallest components possible and taken down through the building. The new tower had to be built in place in the opposite direction as the old tower was removed. New riser piping was installed for 17 floors and new pumps were installed in the cellar in conjunction to a new BMS system.
Fitness Club New Installation
TA has completed over 50 fitness club installations ranging from discount health clubs to ultra exclusive concierge fitness locations. This particular installation was challenging for its indoor clearance and outdoor access for equipment location.
Building Master Modernization Plan
TA was hired to plan the staged removal of city steam, cooling towers, pumps, boilers and all of the associated systems. New VRF systems were selected and due to the limited setback room for condensers, an innovative steel balcony system was used every 6 floors in which to house the condensing units. Over 300 Square Feet per floor was given back to the landlord for use on each floor as the mechanical rooms were removed.
Frogs Pond Luxury Modern Home
A truly unique home designed with the vision of a very exclusive east end Long Island Architect. This home uses unique geometric confusion to create a truly unique experience. TA participated in the design and pre-construction of all systems inclusive of multiple ultra high efficiency boilers, radiant floors, geothermal heating and cooling systems and energy recovery ventilation
The ARC House
This award winning design by Maziar Behrooz was perhaps the most difficult installation in TA history. Part of this house was underground, part of it was above ground and constructed of structural SIP panels with no hidden spaced for the installation of mechanical systems and part of the space was open an open format arch that made installation of ductwork impossible. The fact that you cannot see any evidence of mechanical systems is a testament to the cooperation between designer, builder and TA Mechanical.
